TrackBag is a revolutionary app that tracks your luggage all-through your way. It works on the simple concept of Bar-code scanning. When you are handing over you luggage at the counter just scan the bar-code on the tag of your luggage with the TrackBag app before your luggage is taken away.
TrackBag does the rest of the job. All through your journey you could constantly track your baggage and its status with just a few taps on your smartphone. 
 

The concept is very simple. As you open the app there is the dash board. On it you would get the PNR details of your ticket and also the baggage details. As your luggage meanders through the different check posts in the airport, you would constantly get in-app notifications. So when you board the flight you would be technically sure that your luggage boarded with you in the same flight. 

Now say you have a connecting flight to catch from an airport midway, all you would have to do is press the "REFRESH" button on the app once you get access to the airport wi-fi, and immediately you would get your luggage status. In-fact you would be able to track the status as your luggage again makes it to the same flight you are travelling in. 
The TrackBag app would communicate with one centralized database and thus would work in all airports worldwide.  

 

Incase your luggage is delayed. You would be able to contact the Airlines from within the TrackBag app. The app would keep tracking the status of your luggage. No need to revisit the airport to get the status of your baggage. The moment your luggage reaches the airport you would be notified through the app. 

 

If unfortunately your baggage is lost, no need to panic. TrackBag would have the claims forms within the app. No need to queue up to fill out forms in the airport. Fill the forms from the TrackBag app which would then communicate with Airlines and the Airport Authority and would help you through the entire process. 

 

The TrackBag app has already been implemented and tested in one of the International airports. However the concept is being stalled due to security concerns by some of the other airports. Having said that we are very excited about this TrackBag app concept and hope to implement it as soon as we get the opportunity because needless to say it would make your travel simple and an enjoyable experience.
